Swimming consists of four strokes, butterfly, backstroke, breastroke, freestyle.
Freestyle

In this stroke you float on your stomach and swing your arms over your head. You move your head to the left or right to breathe. You scissor kick to move.
Breastroke

Breastroke is a complicated stroke. You make a motion of slicing with your arms. And then you pull away from your body and lift your head to breathe. To kick you bend your legs and spread them out. You bring them together and repeat.
Backstroke

In backstroke you float on your back and swing your arms. You kick your legs like in freestyle.
Butterfly

In butterfly you move your legs like a dolphin. You have to bring your arms over your head. Move your head up to breath.
